The End

There was no happy ending.
There were no wedding bells.
There was no taste of heaven
Just me going through hell.

I had a noose around my neck.
I had to cut the rope.
I had to  go free.
If I didn't do so, there would be no hope.

For once I was selfish, I didn't think of you.
So I cut my rope and ran away
I know I left you all alone,
but I lived to see another day.

I know that I had hurt you
I'm sorry if you cried,
but if hadn't left you
I surely would have died...

So now you are bitter
and I feel little pain.
Now your angry and sad
and I still get to be sane

I wish it could have been different
I wish I could still call you friend
but you look at me as if I were an illness.
So I guess this is "The End"....
